Jodi i'm really sorry to hear about the hit list. that's incredibly =
disgusting and stupid. things are being blown way out of proportion now =
and its getting ridiculous. in time, as soon as the media lets go a =
little, these bomb threats will stop happening. we haven't had anything =
at my school so far thank god.
-maturity works sometimes- this silly boy in my biology class was being =
an ass thursday and calling me 'woman' etc, etc, trying to be cool, so i =
was all mature and like 'save your breath and go do homework or =
something' and it WORKED. friday i came into bio and he goes 'hey meg' i =
was like "scuse me? what did you just call me?". he said 'i'm just gonna =
be nice now if that's ok with you'. heh. i'm gonna pretend to be mature =
more often!
Beth, that's so awesome that you're going back to school. don't worry =
about math-i suck at it real bad (well at least geometry).=20

OK, two things:
In my little town of Quakertown, on Friday April 30, there were 900
absentees in a high school of 1200 because of bomb threats. But Bucks
County has imposed a media blackout of all school threats to try to limit
the sensation seekers. Kids are being expelled (not suspended, Expelled)
for internet "hit lists". How's that for a state of mind?
Second: My neighbor sent me a list of alternative ways of saying
masterbation. I immediately thought of 3 guys on this list who could
appriciate such a list and sent it to them. One wrote back to say it was
sick, and a dubious distinction to be grouped with the other two. One
wrote back to say whoever wrote 185 terms for the act was sick (to which I
replied anyone who counted how many were listed was sick). One refused to
respond at all.
Sociology is fun. ;)

I was planning on going to that concord show actually. I just have to find
someone to go with, since I'm liscenceless. Even though concord is a good 2
hours from my house, I'd be more than willing to go. And going with another
toriphile would be awesome. My only other hope is that my best friend and
fellow toriphile can convince his mom to let him drive 2 hours away even
though he's only had his liscence for a month. I dunno. Maybe...I'm hoping!
But it would be great to meet up with you there. Anybody else going? We
could like go to dinner before or something. I'm thinking of 2 others who
would take me. Neither of them are Toriphiles, but I know they'd drive me.
So...I'll see what my mom says. I've already told her about it. That's
enough of my blabbing for now. I'm getting psyched cause my party is in just

think biscotti ice cream is better than the real thing.
And I so highly doubt that you will get a 300 on your SATs. But if

First of all, Abigail, I am so sorry about your loss. I, like you,
haven't had to go through any family deaths as of yet. I can only
imagine how you feel. It's kind of sad, but the three deaths that I
have experienced were all teen-age friends of mine who passed away in
car accidents.
Anyway, my thoughts are with you during this time.

On to a lighter note, I went to see my brother's band play in
Bloomington last night. I was so impressed! They did an excellent
job--I mean, really good. I'm not just saying that because I new the
band or anything. These guys are talented--they're going to go
places. It was kind of weird to look up and see my brother, who I
know so well, play the bass on stage. It was weird to think that all
of the music tied together so well and sounded so professional. It's
weird to realize that your own family members are pretty special
sometimes--do you know what I mean? I never thought of my brother as
a musicain really until last night. It blew me away.
