Subject: What a morning...

12/9/02
10:56 am

I just had a terrible morning.

In the middle of my dumbass math class the principal says over the loud
speaker, "Teachers, we're going to do code red." Code red is locking the
doors, turning the lights off, closing the windows, laying on the floor,
making sure no one will see anyone in the classroom. I was a little freaked
out about it but a lot of people and the teacher were telling me it was just
a dril...well, during all this, these 2 assholes named, John and Antwon were
messing with this guy behind them...they were doing dumb cruel things to him
and I just couldn't take it anymore and I shouted, "Quit buggin' him! WHat
are you getting out of that?" and Antwon starting shouting back at me and I
said talked back to him. Then the principal made an announcement that it
wasn't a drill that there was really a student in the school with a knife
and gun...both of those incidents make me so mad. THankfully, Ms. Janke (my
math teacher) said that Antwon and John will not be in the class anymore.
But they both are in my social studies class which is going on....right
about now. So, I left my social studies room and used the pay phone to call
my dad and tell him about it. I love my dad so much, he knew that I had to
leave school. He told me to tell the nurse that I was ill and that I need
to come home. But I couldn't go there without a teacher's pass and I was
skipping at the moment so that wouldn't be good to ask the teacher in there,
I did see my social studies teacher in the hall (there was a sub in the
social studies class that I usually have because she was in the hall doin'
something) anyways, Ms. Hastings (my social studies teacher) was in the hall
and I was talking to her about wanting to leave and telling her about
it...she understood, she's one of my favorite teacher...she's so great.
THen the dumbass principal came and started asking me questions and saying
he doesn't like that I was swearing in class...I think that's so fucking
dumb...swearing shouldn't be that big of a deal...I mean, I can see if it
was words like n*gger or f*ggot or something like that that would be bad,
but words like fuck, shit, all that, that shouldn't be that big of a deal at
all. But I'm not gonna get a referral or whatever. Although the principal
kept asking me about this guy named, ALan in my math class...they both (Alan
and the principal) are the most annoying people, I swear! Anyways, I went
to the office and they gave me a pass and I figured things out with my
dad...so now, I'm in the library with a pass and I'm waiting for the clock
to turn to 11:30 am when I leave in either my brother's or my dad's car...my
mom is on vacation in Massachussetts right now.

Hey, you guys! I know I've been lurking for a while, been kinda busy. I'll
be leaving my job soon (yea!) and going back to school full-time.
Unfortunately, I am moving back in with my parents while I go to school. It

keep telling myself that. Anyways, besides that, nothing has really been
going on in my life. I have expanded my Tori Collection (bought some
singles off ebay) happy happy happy. I nornally don't do these but:

wings, crack pipes, etc.)

3. Best album title? BfP & UtP

4. All time fave tori song? Mother - always has, always will

5. Fave song from...
Little Earthquakes? mother
Under the Pink? pretty good year/waitress *'cause I believe in peace,

>From the Choirgirl Hotel? Northern Lad/Rasberry Swirl
To Venus and Back? Spring Haze/Josephine
Strange Little Girls? Strange Little Girl
Scarlet's Walk? Your Cloud/I Can't See New York

6. What was your first fave Tori song? Mother, I instantly fell head over

Cyndi asked:

<<<littlebluegirl said from the survey: "Ooh one of my
fav things I
learned
from her was how to play the piano looking all sultry!
Its the whole
left
foot on the right pedal. It cracks me up, but its
actually more
comfortable when you are short."
o_O huh.. kewl.. I'm 5'7".. shortest one in my
family. lol..
does
that count? or am I too tall?>>>

Haha, when I read that response from littlebluegirl, I
was smacking myself for not remembering the fact that
I picked up the bench-straddling technique, too. For
so long, I'd been playing the piano but could never
deal with using the pedals at appropriate times. I am
veryveryvery left-handed. So the second I started
spreadin' my legs and using my left foot on the
pedals, I was golden. So, for Cyndi's question: I'm
5'10, and comfortable as hell that way. :-)

Oh... in case you were wondering what happens to a
veryveryvery left-handed person when it comes to
playing the keys.... sometimes I reverse the parts
that are written for the left and right hands, if the
notes for the right hand are too hard to play. :-P

I am a mess when it comes to playing that damn
instrument. So it's not shocking that I'm not
exceedingly good at it... but I love to play, and I
throw a lot of emotion into it, so that's all that
matters, if ya ask me.

Subject: yes, they are everywhere

So in a couple digests back Jim Mathers mentioned how Toriphiles are
everywhere. Yes, they are. They are even in my own house. :D. So one of
my roommates is my best friend and we both like Tori and so it's no big deal
for at least one of the two of us to be listening to Tori at any point in
the day. Well, soon we are going to be getting a couple more roommates, and
one of them was over tonight. Somehow we all ended up hanging out in my
room and I guess she saw my winamp skin of Tori and she mentioned that she
liked Tori. I don't know her all that well, so I never knew what her taste
in music was, but, well, that statement excited me to no end. You see, I
don't encounter people who like Tori all that often, and the fact that I
would have *2* roommates that I could relate to about this enthralled me.
We went on to discuss Tori for a bit and it was very nice. Tonight another
friend of mine who has been unabashed about her hatred for Tori at times
even mentioned how she didn't mind her newer stuff, and the she even *liked*
"Wednesday." Wow. I'm excited. I just enjoy sharing the music that I love
with friends and knowing that they enjoy it (I am known to subjecting people
to my musical taste whether they want to hear it or not) so its neat that I
have another person that I can add to my "Likes Tori List."
:D
well, I better be off
later

I finally feel it in my bones:

I AM OVER DAVID! - "I'M NOT IN LOVE" GUY.

As if there weren't enough things that turned me off about him but I heard
another one and then really wondered why I ever liked him in the first place
and realized that I was over that jerk.
