I've just been going through some... times here in my life, and it's so good to see the RDTRN community still here, still holding together. I'm going through a lot of self reflection these days, and it's hard having a lot of hope sometimes. I'm attempting to become debt free (currently, I owe around $700 to credit cards, $3000 to my parents and $1400 to my best friend) and then I'd like to see if I can afford graduate school and/or a new car (mine is a 96 and has 93k miles). I'm also wonderingwhat to do next in my life. I'm 29 years old, and I feel I've reached an impasse. I feel like I really want to move on in my life, but I also feel somewhat trapped in my job, trapped in my friend's lives... Luckily, I have the musings of friends here on RDT and other communities, and I have found that I do a lot of rambling over at my livejournal account as well, plus a couple of tori forums (I'm very partial to fifthavenue). So, I'm still around. Yes, I spend less time on mailing lists, because there is a sense of 'at my own speed' that I get writing on my online journals... but I certainly still love RDT, and maybe I'll just have to post more.. Why does it bug you? Shouldn't it make you happy that as an artist Tori is able to expand her horizons to other people that may not be exposed to her music? I think (and Cyndi I don't mean you) that people are too obsessed with music labels. Music is music, and hey, if Tori wants to be on CMT and get herself some more press, I say Girl go for it :) Not all people who listen to country music are hicks.
