Beth Coulter
Time swim, New Orleans
Ether sink or swim
The time of challenge has come
Yours to drown or win
Swim you Dixie Lady
Swim fast and be strong
Don't let the black water take you down
Prove doubtful Yankees wrong
Hope sweet sister, New Orleans
Hope, have faith and pray
Sing and blown your golden trumpets
Dance for another day
Do not fade New Orleans
Do not fade away
Be strong, live long and prosper
This is what everyone prays
Jazz cannot die New Orleans
Nor can spirit and cheer
Though the black waters surround you
You will still shine in coming years
Sing you sweet jambalaya
Sultry, sweet and soft
Sing you way up out of the grave
And set your spirits aloft
-- New Orleans

Subject: Comments on Red Rocks
What a bummer that the digest got out late. I would of liked to have
taken somebody, who otherwise couldn't go, with me. I had a fantastic
view of the stage, and Tori was amazing. She loves playing at Red Rocks
and told the crowd that if she could, she would play there every night.
She also mentioned that some of Little Earthquakes was written in our
Mountains. A cool tidbit that I have never heard before.
This was the best show I've ever seen by far. For one, the audience was
very respectful and quiet when they should of been. Something I haven't
seen since living here in Colorado.
It was a cool and somewhat breezy night, and we got a little sputter of
rain early in the evening, but it didn't affect the show at all. It
seemed that Tori was just revealing in the breeze. She was full of
energy and physically expressive, and she really got into playing the
piano, and her voice was amazing. She hit every note and never faltered.
She played Carbon, Silent all These Years, Muhammad My Friend, Marianne,
Tear in Your Hand, and Mother. All of which I loved! Jamaica Inn was
also very good, but I would have liked to hear it with just the piano
this time and not the organ.
It was a spectacular night. One I'll always remember.
Roxanne

Roxanne Said:
"Unbelievable, My tickets have been upgraded for Red Rocks! Front Row
tickets. I've never been so lucky.
This is only my 5th Tori Concert in 14 years. Amazing!"
Congratulations, Roxanne! I was upgraded for the Baltimore show and it
was the most amazing experience. I got to be at the stage for the
encores for the first time AND was lucky enough to meet her at the meet
and greet. So, so, so, wonderful. I'm so excited for you!
