Subject: dribbly cheese.

        thanks for all of the well wishes about my dog, everybody. I'm
very late in announcing it, but Stoney was FINALLY put to sleep after his
health started to drop consistently, on the 27th of May. I have to say
that I was extremely relieved when I woke up to the news because I
suffered more because he was sick and in pain than I did when he finally
died.
        so anyway, at the prodding of my dad, he and my mother, after
taking care of Stoney (who was left with the vet to be cremated with all
the other dogs and cats that died that day--more appropriate I think
since dogs ARE pack animals), went to the animal shelter and bought
another dog to keep the younger dog Max company.
        and she's an awesome dog. her name is Coco (I think.. my dad says
it's Cocoa tho cuz she has a black overcoat and a golden undercoat that
looks brown in the sun) and she's mostly Lab but she has a Boxer face so
she has a bit of an underbite.

        in other news, um... plooey.

        Megan, your apprehensiveness towards Tori making a new album is
understandable. I may not feel that way exactly, but I do understand. a
lot of other artists have fallen into that "complacency" trap.. and their
music has, as a result, started to SUCK. so I can understand your worry.

        I don't have much to announce except for the fact that I haven't
lost any digits from last night's
blow-shit-up-with-firecrackers-and-fireworks fest that Americans refer to
as "Independence Day". be proud of me!

        ...and stuff.

        oh, and I went to Oklahoma for three weeks before going home via
airplane (last Thursday) and living it up while my parents have been gone
the entire time. ^O^ that's been fun. my parents come home on the 8th or
9th, so it'll be nice to see 'em again.

        well that's my post for now. :) life is going pretty well for me.
^O^ except I really hate being so passive-aggressive that I keep hoping
that someone else will lay into someone for leaving stupid comments on my
LiveJournal without paying attention to the meat of my post(s).
