Yesterday I had the worst cramps ever! I could barely walk and I was hungry
and stomach aching at the same time. It was awful. I knew I wouldn't be
able to make it through the day. I went to the nurse and then my mom picked
me up and I laid with a hot pad on my back and did stuff...my
usual...computer, TV, phone, whatever...
In my intro physical science class, we haven't learned shit! That class
isn't even worth calling "easy" it's just nothing. I don't know why the
fuck this so called "science teacher" thinks he can teach us anything by
having us post little periodic table squares in the right spots on a paper
and think we know what they are. I mean, give me a break. I don't know
pretty much ANY of the periodic table stuff. That's like the only things we
ever do in there. Really dumbn projects, once in a while we watch Bill Nye
The Science Guy which isn't too bad, and then once in a long while we do
experiments. So, final exams are going on and I bet he didn't know what to
put on them. So he just made up a bunch of questions and gave us the
answers to them so we'd all pass...BUT NOT LEARN ANYTHING. That pisses me
off. Oh, whatever, I don't care about learning about physical science. So
I wrote down all the answers and then he said that he was gonna mix them up
on the test...then I was like, whatever and I gave it to someone else.
Later that night, I realized that I should have that because then I'd have a
better chance of getting some of those things right.
Thankfully this morning the person I gave it to was there and gave it back
to me and I knowingly passed the test. I had a pre-algebra test and I did
all of the questions I thought was right and got help on the ones that I
didn't know. I think I'll pass that one.
I got the toriamos.com newsletter today about how they are giving away front
row tickets to some of the US shows coming up! That sounds great. I'm
going to another show...the Chicago, Illinois one most likely. On December
1st, 2002 I went to the Milwaukee, Wisconsin one.

I enjoy music from a lot of musicians who I don't agree with about things.
Heck, I'm still reading Cerebus, and Dave Sim has turned into a hardcore
Christian/Jew/Muslim guy who thinks that all the problems of the 20th
century were caused by gays and feminists. I probably don't agree with
him about *anything*, but I still read his comic.

I'd be satisfied if that mythical album of B-sides and non-album cuts ever
came out. But I'm not holding my breath about that, either.
As for your other question about how much control Tori really has over
things like the DVD, I've always had the impression that she has a lot of
control, but of course this is a new record company, so it's sort of a new
deal, and things may have changed a bit.

Good point. It is definitely one of the high points, but I can't really
pick one favorite song yet.

A friend lent the books to me, but I haven't read them yet, since I was
distracted by Neverwhere. Which I just found out was a mini-series on
British TV. Has anybody seen that?
I'll tackle the Pullman books next, unless I decide to read Lord of the
Rings again.
As B/4,
John

Subject: for pete's sake!
So what do you guys think about Pete Townshend and the child pornography
thing: was it really research, or is Pete a perv?
Quite a shock.
Seems to me if someone was going to do research on the subject, they might
have the common sense to let authorities know that's what they're doing
before they do it. That's what *I'd* do, anyway. I mean, come on ... even
I know that authorities monitor child porn sites and can easily track &
hunt down the people who visit them. But then again, I seem to know a lot
of things that I thought were obvious, but apparently aren't obvious to
everyone. Like not driving across train tracks when the crossbars are down
and the lights are flashing. That one throws a lot of folks off.
Now I have to go to bed. Tomorrow: Disneyland!
