	Corset Created by Tori

	Posted October 27, 2005

As she did for last year's auction, Tori has designed and
created a corset for the 3rd Annual Fredrick's of Hollywood
Lingerie Auction. The proceeds from this year's auction will
benefit the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance. For more info and to

Subject: wave your arms around

If you're claustrophobic, or even if you think you might be, don't even
try to have a traditional (or "closed") MRI. I didn't really realize how
claustrophobic I was until the guy slid me into that tube (still in search
of the reason behind the dizzy spells). He gave me a little mirror to see
my feet (which made it worse, by the way).

I lasted probably less than two minutes. Breathing and meditation
exercises didn't help at all. He pulled me out and sent me to a place
where they do "open" MRI.

That went better. Also, the person there had good advice for getting
through it (he told me to keep my eyes closed, which was a much better
idea than a little mirror).

So now I have 27 very large photographs of my head and neck. I'm telling
people that I'm going into modeling and these are my headshots.

I don't know what the neurologist will make of the headshots, but an
explanation of the dizzy spells has come to light. My co-worker, who sits
next to me in a little room with four cubicles, had dizzy spells so severe
that he had to take two days off from work.

Our boss put one and one together, and called people to come in and test
the air. Turned out there wasn't any, the vents were broken. They fixed
them, and I did start to feel better. Freezing cold, but perhaps less
dizzy.

We'll see what happens next.

As B/4,

John
