A difficult decision to make, but usually the right one, How could
anybody make a relationship work if it's "this is okay, not really
everything I need, and, if I see what I *really* need, I'll go get that
instead"?

That's not much of a commitment, and without commitment, nothing important
is really possible.

As Groucho Marx once said, "You're going to be here all winter and I'm
stuck with the hotel anyhow---why don't you grab me until you can make
other arrangements?"

> Y'all take care, and let me know how you are.

Not bad. The dizzyness problem in the fall is basically over, and was
apparently caused by lack of air in my workplace.

(I don't think it was a deliberate plan to suffocate me, but these days
you never know.)

Other than that, things are good. Job is about the same. There are a few
people reading my novels and sending comments, some of which I'm posting
on my blog. The Tori boots are great, and I've discovered netflix, so I'm
catching up on a lot of DVDs. I found out about PHP (finally, a
programming language I can use and learn without devoting my life to the
project). The family holiday event was quite enjoyable (my cousin went
into a diabetic coma for an hour or so, but we're used to that).

As B/4,

John
